A look back at the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf series, from a sports video game fan who's played them all.
I was playing through PGA 2004 the other week and forgot how fun some of the mini game modes were. Messing around trying to get bonuses for the longest drive in the warehouse is a lot more fun than it needs to be. I also in recent years began to enjoy PGA Tour '96 on the Genesis. It was pretty ambitious for the time trying to squeeze the 32 bit version of the game into the Genesis hardware. The long render times between shots doesn't bother me too much considering golf is a slower pace sport in the first place. It's really fun once you get the hang of everything.
